Wednesday, November 26, 2014, we will have our first annual “Turkey Bowl” Flag Football Game. This will be a time for families to come out and have a fun game of flag football together. At 3PM, we will practice and assess skill levels of all players so that we can create balanced teams. At 3:30PM teams will be selected and will have 30 minutes to practice together. At 4pm, we will begin the official game. See Pastor Matt for further details.
LiveWire Kids Camp
This summer, our LiveWire kids 1st grade-5th grade have the opportunity to attend our day camp. This will take place June 30-July 2 from 8AM-5PM. Cost is $90 and they will participate in games, tree swing, swimming, mud pit, exploring, God and relationship with others, worship, obstacle course, lunch and snack, interactive crafts. $50 deposit due by Sunday, May 17, to reserve your spot.
180 Beach Camp
This summer our 180 Student Ministry will be traveling to Garden City Beach, SC for a week of worship, games, pool, and beach time!! This is one of the best events of the year and students do not want to miss this. Spots are limited to the first 12 boys and first 12 girls to sign-up. Anyone beyond that will be placed on a waiting list in the event of more spots are opened up. Be sure to sign up early. Cost is $225 which is all-inclusive. $75 deposit is due by May 6 to reserve your spot.
Kids Sports Camp
Our Macedonian mission team will be leading a special sports camp on April 26 & May 3 for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. Kids will learn the basics of four different sports if they attend both days. Camp will be from 2PM-4PM on both days. Please sign up at the kiosk to reserve your spot.
Gospel Communication Conference
Our Macedonian mission team will be leading a two-day conference to provide resources on how to communicate the Gospel clearly and effectively. This conference is designed to provide you the tools need to share Christ in a personal way with your friends, co-workers, and family. This is a great opportunity for people of all ages to gain a better understanding of how to share Christ. Conference will be on Sunday May 17 & May 31 from 2pm-4pm. Child Dedication
On Sunday, May 10, we will be having a special service to dedicate our children to God. This is a special time to make a public statement that you desire to lead your children in the ways of scripture. Teaching them to obey Christ throughout their life. The dedication will take place during the 11AM service. Please sign-up at the kiosk if you would like to participate.
Mother’s Day Special Video
We will be filming a special video to celebrate Mother’s Day. We are in need of families of all ages of kids to participate in this special video. Please sign-up at the kiosk and you will be contacted with details regarding recording.
Family Ministry to Briarwood Safari
On Saturday April 25, families are invited to travel to Briarwood Safari to visit the many animals. We will be riding in a covered wagon and will have the opportunity to feed many different types of animals. This is a family event designed for kids, teens, parents, and anyone else who would like to join. Cost is $14/person. Please sign-up at the kiosk to reserve your spot. We will leave UPBC at 12PM and return by 6PM.
Date Night
Saturday, February 7, 2015 will be a date night for mom and dad. Bring kids to the church at 5pm and pick them up at 8pm. Children of all ages are welcome to stay, Pre-K through teens. Sign-Up at the kiosk by February 1, 2015. See Pastor Matt for details!
Preschool Worker Meeting/Training
Our Preschool Training has been rescheduled to February 1, 2015. Meeting will be immediately following second service with a free lunch. We will review policies and procedures and equip all of our volunteers to serve in our preschool ministry.
