How Do I Meet People?

University Parkway Baptist Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at University Parkway Baptist Church.

Small Group

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about the Bible than larger groups are. For that reason, University Parkway Baptist Church has small group bible studies held at the church and in member’s homes. The size of the group is anywhere from six to twelve. At a time, designated by your group, you can participate in the small group study.

Livewire Children’s Ministry

Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers have undergone a background check and is carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction. During the 11AM service, the children have the opportunity to participate in their very own worship service. This service includes music, games, and a interactive story from God’s Word.

180 Student Ministry

Each Sunday morning, students 6th grade-12th grade have the opportunity to attend their very own Bible Study during the 9:30AM service. This class includes a message from God’s Word relevant to where the students are in their life. The student ministry of University Parkway Baptist Church is recognized for their close interaction.

Young Adults

The young adult group of University Parkway Baptist Church provides a welcoming atmosphere for college and early-career aged young people.

Women’s Group

University Parkway Women’s Groups gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women’s groups, located in several locations throughout our community, are times of Bible study, prayer (and, of course, food). These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church.

Men’s Group

Accountability among men is an act of integrity. Accountability is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages. Our men’s group meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM to study and discuss God’s Word, handle accountability and grow spiritually together.

Married Couples

University Parkway Church gives married couples the opportunity to join marriage classes ranging on topics from Marriage and Money, Getting Ready for Kids, Shepherding Children, Marriage and Sex.

Over 50’s

Once you get past fifty, the fun has just begun. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the over-50 group of University Parkway provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction. A mentoring ministry gives older believers a chance to meet with and help younger believers grow in Christ. Our over-50 group enjoys fellowship at our monthly luncheon as well as many trips throughout the year.
